Please forgive what may be a very basic question, but the Common App is new to us and seems fairly scary.
My daughter is applying ED and sending her personal statement along with supplemental essay to one school on 11/1. Her supplemental essay is stronger and better suited for that school's supplemental prompt, but her personal statement is good as well.
If necessary, she will apply to several other school RD on 1/1. If she doesn't get ED and gets waitlisted at the first school, is it possible to change her essays in the Common App? I guess I'm asking - once a Common App is submitted to one school, can you change it for others?
Thank you!

Yes, the common app can be changed for subsequent applications, but it is designed to be user-friendly for ALL schools, so keep that in mind. By the way, don’t wait until Nov. 1 to send in an ED. There are horror stories of the system being too busy to accept a large volume. Try for the day or a couple of days before.

In the help section on the common app site you’ll find the instructions for how to create different versions after submitting to one school.
