<p>Hey, I got into UC Davis as an econ major. Would I be able to change from Econ to Managerial Econ? I have all the pre-reqs done for both if it matters.</p>

<p>Yes, you can declare it fall quarter. I emailed the managerial econ advisor awhile back asking the same thing and she said you can as long as you meet the requirements to declare Man Econ. She also said a lot of students do this, so it’s not rare or anything.</p>
<p>same question! i don’t know the specifics, but I know that you can apply to change majors in the winter quarter. I know that for fall quarter there are certain classes you have to take for a min. GPA of 2.8 to even get into the major, since the grades of your prereqs don’t transfer over. Like I said, I don’t know the specifics, so I don’t know exactly which classes, but I do know that it’s possible! </p>
<p>I’m going to orientation June 21, so hopefully I can figure it out then.</p>
