Changing major --> revoke acceptance? UCSB

I got accepted into UCSB woohoo!

Now my question is, I was accepted into mathematics, but I’d like to change it to Mathematical Sciences. Could they revoke my acceptance if I send in this request 8^O ? Sorry if this seems like a silly question but I just want to make sure.

Changing majors is no problem! As long as the major you’re changing into is not impacted, you’re good to go. Especially since Math and Math Sciences are so close, it’s not a big deal too (and I don’t think Math Sciences is impacted). You are fine!
