Changing Major

<p>I originally wrote down Chemistry for my major when I applied to UMD in September and was accepted to the School of Chemical/Life Sciences and Gemstone. Since then, I have decided to pursue a finance degree instead. How would I go about changing my major? </p>

<p>Would it cause a lot of trouble or be very difficult? Is there a possibility I would be rejected from the Business School? (I do have good stats, 4.0 UGPA 4.7 WGPA 2100 sat).</p>

<p>Oh btw I haven't actually accepted my offer to UMD and Gemstone, but I am 95% sure I will in a couple weeks.</p>

<p>Hmm I would call the office, but I am pretty sure you can change your major. About Gemstone, I would confirm that right away on the website to reserve your spot.</p>
