hi, i was accepted for fall 07 as an animal science major. i wanted to find out if i would be able to change to the school of medicine right off the bat. the major i applied with i lost interest in and decided to go into human sciences. would it not matter because i have to get some ge classes done first or how does it work? thanks in advance.

Well undergraduates can't enter School of Med, perhaps you meant College of Biological Sciences?

In any case changing majors is really simple, just go talk to the CBS people at Life Sciences Building or call them and request to change your major. When you do get here start taking prereqs for the bio major...hope this helps.

Sorry but this is the most hilarious thing I have ever heard of in awhile. Thing is, no you can't change to school of medicine right off the bat. You can however, change once you get a 3.8+/30+ MCAT/Great Recs/Internship experience. GL on that however.

^I think the poster is referring to changing to a different division...to the biological science area, not actually attending med school yet.
