Chem and Bio Series Questions

In the list of courses needed for the ecology major (and all bio majors for that matter), it says you need to take Chem 2A, 2B, and 2C. and same with BIS 2A, 2B, 2C. same three series thing with physics and math also.
My question is do you need to talk all of those classes, or am I interpreting it wrong and you only need to take 2 of those 3 to fulfill the major requirements. Because for optometry school and med school requirements, it says you only need 2 semesters of biology, chem, and physics. but if you’re required to take all three of those, isn’t that 3 semesters (which seems a little excessive to me). Could anybody clarify this for me?

From what my roommates (NBP and biochem majors) have told me, you need bio, chem and physics for biosci majors. I’m not in biosci, so you may want to wait for a biosci major to confirm that, but that’s what I’ve heard at least.

No, 3 quarters = 2 semesters (usually). And yes, for the BS you’re required to have a year in gen Chem, Bio, Math, and Physics.

@JeSuis ohhh ok, thank you! I was freaking out haha
