Hi,

I am a new transfer student, majoring in nuclear engineering. I'm thinking about doing the joint major NE/Chem E. I was told that I could possibly do that after the fall semester (if i get good grades). I have taken E 45 at the community college, but I still need E7 and EE100.

I'm wondering if this would be a good schedule to start with in the 1st semester.
I signed up for these courses :
1.NE 101
2.EE 100
3.ISF 100 E (humanities).
4. CHEM E 140 (I was placed in the waiting list because I'm in the college of Engineering. I'm #1 in lab, and # 12 in lecture).

Is this a good schedule? I think I will be able to decide whether I want the joint major or not after taking Chem E 140. I would have to take Chem E 140 and Chem E 150A anyway because Chem E 150A is prereq for another NE course.

Also, let me know if I should do anything about Chem E 140 being in the waiting list. The process of moving into the class in indicated as "manual" in telebears. The class still has space, but I was placed on wait list because I'm in the COE.I wonder if I should contact the COC about that?

Thanks a lot
