<p>It's very easy compared to the AP test. It's intended to see if you know enough high school chemistry to start with freshman chemistry at UIUC, which should be pretty easy.</p>
<p>If I'm going into Consum. Econ and Finance in College of ACES, do you think I need to take the Chem. Test? I called a dean or whatever a couple weeks ago and she said no.</p>
<p>yeah, i took two years of high school chemistry. doesn't that make me exempt from the test in LAS?</p>

<p>It's funny, I placed in the top 50 in the nation on the U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad and I still had to take UIUC's chemistry placement test, since the rules were different back then. While I was taking it, I saw this guy that also took the national exam with me.</p>
