If I'm majoring in Chem E, and starting in Summer B, what are two good classes to start with over the summer?

I’m pretty much in the same boat. Summer B doesn’t offer calc 1, physics, or general chemistry during the summer which is kind of lame imo. I don’t really know what to take now. Plus, I don’t know if I’ll have passed certain AP tests by that time.

You could take ENC3254 ( technical writing required for Chem E majors ), EGN1002 (one credit class; you get to visit every engineering department at UF) and humanities class that fulfills diversity or international gened requirement if you do not have those covered by AP.

…or explore the other majors you might like…I took phychology because that was other major I was thinking of

I’d just look for interesting classes with good professors that aren’t too early in the morning. If you think you’re gonna have trouble fitting in geneds do that but odds are youre coming in with plenty
