<p>I have read there is a placement exam needed to take Chem 105al. Can someone tell me more about the exam ( when it is given, how long, etc)?</p>

<p>i don’t remember anything specifically since i took it a few years back but you basically just have to show that you have SOME level of chemistry knowledge lol. i think the test was only an hour long.</p>

Do you recall when the test is held? What if you are signing up for classes at one of the June orientations and Chem 105al is one of your choices?</p>
<p>you can take the test at your orientation time. not sure if it’s they have the same schedule but when i did it they had a few hours set apart during the 2nd day of orientation for placement tests.</p>
