Has anyone taken it yet? I am worrying about it because I’m self-studying for it but I don’t know how general/complicated it is. Any suggestions on what I should study or know?

[SASC - Chem Placement Exam - Details](http://lsc.ucdavis.edu/place_chem.html)

This is a helpful page. Seems to be everything covered in an AP chemistry class.

A 21/44 doesn’t seem that bad. Hopefully I can cover all the material before my orientation on Aug 1st

Are there any practice exams online specifically for chemistry? I know that on the math placement exam website they have some for math.

try Chem SAT prep books

It wasn’t hard. I only took Honors Chemistry my junior year and got a 39 out of 44. Everyone here should do fine. :)

Future have you found any tests online for Chemistry that are representative of the placement test?

Let me know :)

OP: seriously, check out sparknotes.

i scored a 41/44 on my diagnostic, and that was after… 2 hours of “omg, shoot, need to review”?

lol.

mind you, i don’t suggest seriously ~studying~ for the placement test. it’s called the placement test for a REASON. if you barely pass, i highly recommend you take workload. it’ll really help in the long run.

How soon do you know your results? (right after? sent to email?)
