I need to take a science subject test for a few colleges, and I don’t know which one to register for. I did very well in AP Biology as a sophomore (now a junior), but I also am hesitant to review two semesters of material. I am currently in a lower-level chemistry class (the highest my school offers), but I don’t know if the course is of a high enough level so that I could get in the 740+ range without a lot of extra studying. Does anyone who had to face this decision have any advice?
Hmmm - I would kinda lean towards biology! For biology I think just memorizing, but if your chem class hasn’t gotten to something like equilibrium and acids/bases, I feel like it would be very, very difficult to learn on your own!
On the other hand, if you’re REALLY motivated, you might be able to. I’ve heard that the chem SAT may carry more weight than the biology one, though I’m not sure!
It really depends on how much time you’re willing to put into it - but I would go for bio! Good luck!
