I wan't to become a lawyer, and choosing a major for this has been the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I've been through picking Poly. Sci, English,Psych. Philos., etc. I've had to deal with people telling me that the major I had won't really get me any other job in case I decided not to go into law...I've heard "that major won't get you a job" SOOOO many times. So I (think) I've finally decided to double major so that I'll have a back up.I'm thinking of doing English and Liberal arts( more broad so that I'll have a lot of job options as a backup) but with an emphasis in social and behavioral science. So I have two questions, one, is this a good way to go (be honest but I hope you say yes because I don't think I can handle choosing all over again haha) Two, if it is good, what schools should I start looking into? I'm looking to transfer fall of 2013.

‘Liberal arts’ is all encompassing and usually is not offered as a specific major. See this definition:

[What Does Liberal Arts Mean? - Fastweb](<a href=“What Does Liberal Arts Mean? | Fastweb”>What Does Liberal Arts Mean? | Fastweb)

It sounds like you want your second major to be either Sociology or Psychology.

That said, the majors you have listed are some of the most common and likely to be well represented at most schools. So determining which schools you should look into will depend more on other factors such as: region, city/suburban/rural, size of school, social atmosphere, your academic background (current school, gpa, rigor of coursework), your ECs, your state of residence, how much you are willing/able to pay, etc.
