Choosing between my list of 15

I have done the Common App for most of the Colleges I am applying to, none as of this moment have answered back yet.

uni of Miami (fl)

Reach schools (no order)
Notre Dame University

Johns Hopkins

Ok, so if you are interested this far and continue to read my lengthy post; I will provide some background information.

Obviously I live in midwest; Indiana to be exact

very good student, many senior year AP courses. rigorous catholic private school. GPA this year was 4.4 weighted, but I failed miserably on SATs with an 1230 /1600 and 1800/2400. I am taking the test again in January only to improve upon my chances at automatic scholarships.

areas of study: Business will probably be double major coupled with pre-med or engineering

It sounds weird, but I am interested in the girls of the colleges I am looking at. My parents met in college and I plan to do the same. I am not a heavy party goer, nor over religious. Greek life brings the stock of the college down in my book. I am really looking for a good ratio of girls to guys without greek life.

I may be able to run track at D II or III, but I will not change just based on that since I will walk on anyway and hope for the best.

mid-size school to large but not mega huge

near big city, within 30min of something to do. ( I am asking much since I do not want partying)

sorry for the rant... I hope I get some takers to answer this question.

I would apply to some more “reaches”

And Drexel comes to mind.

Does Rose Hulman offer business? I know Denison does not. I don’t think you need any more schools if you’re happy with your set right now.

I didnt think Rose Hulman met your girl/guy ratio goal…

Well, you are in at IU, but it is both huge and full of Greek Life (though you can certainly avoid it if you choose). It also has amazing business and will probably be cheaper than most of the other schools on your list considering grad school appears to be in your future. Of course, Purdue would be an obvious option because it has both business and engineering. Honestly, have you consiered IUPUI? You would have access to Kelley Business school, internships at the IU hospital system and Purdue engineering faculty. It is NOT a party school and it is located in the city. My DS has taken it as his safety over IU adn Purdue because he is not really into the party scene either.

Indiana is definitely the most Greek-centric university in the Big Ten.

Miami of Ohio is probably the most Greek-centric university in the world.

Indiana or U of Miami…since they are the best business schools you got or can get accepted to.
John Hopkins has no business school/major available
Def go to Villanova or Notre Dame if you get accepted and can afford to go.

When you have your financial aid offers on the table, run the numbers through this handy calculator from our friends at FinAid.org: [FinAid | Calculators | Award Letter Comparison Tool](<a href=“Your Guide for College Financial Aid - Finaid”>Award Letter Requirements - Finaid) I expect that the results will allow you to quickly eliminate a number of places!

Miami (OH), although it does have greek life, it’s also known for it’s high percentage of “Miami Mergers”. If finding your future spouse is really important to you, it’s a good option.
From the website [Miami Mergers](http://www.miami.muohio.edu/tangible-traditions/miami-mergers.html)
"When two Miami students marry, they’re called a Miami Merger. Of living Miami alumni, more than 14 percent are married to each other, creating approximately 13,165 mergers. Miami’s 14.25 percent is especially high compared to the average percentage of alums marrying alums from the same college, which is thought to be between 3 and 9 percent. "

uh well if u dont want partying knock u of miami, u of dayton, and indiana u off the list, and maybe notre dame as well, and villanova too, oh wait just knock them all off lol. dude theres partying at every college.

but in all seriousness,do some research and find out which has the weakest greek life, and weakest nightlife, that will help you find out which one parties the least, and has the worst greek life.

id make an educated guess and say rose hulman has least partying and greek life
