<p>I emailed them and they replied that I am actually in. I’d say you should just email them too since they reply really fast</p>
<p>LOL so I got two emails, one saying I was rejected and another (addressed to a different person) saying they got in… hoping it was a mistake but I’m probably rejected <em>tears tears</em> obviously I opened the acceptance one first and was leaping with joy before I noticed the name </p>

<p>Yeah, I was rejected from SIMR, Jackson Lb, RSI, and waitlisted at Lillehei (local cardiology internship) before getting second round here, though idk if i’ll actually get an internship with city of hope</p>

<p>I feel the same way! I haven’t sent any yet, but I’m planning on sending 10-15 total throughout this weekend. It’s hard to narrow down though…</p>

<p>I’m not seeing too much in common between the professors whose research I find interesting haha… I’m just picking what makes me want to go talk to them and meet them and see their lab, which gives me quite a spread</p>
<p>I just found out that I made it into the second round! I’m not sure what my chances are for being admitted into the program (I’m pleasantly surprised that I made it this far!), but here’s to hoping for the best. :)</p>
<p>I just emailed three professors and have a few more I’d like to speak to. A lot of the professors I named specifically on my application aren’t on the list of faculty… Does anyone know the odds that they might contact me directly? </p>
<p>To everyone that didn’t advance to the second round: I’ve been dropped from countless summer programs-- don’t give up hope! There’s always a right place for everyone. :)</p>
