Has anyone heard back from City of Hope yet?
Not yet
Just got my rejection!
"With much regret, I must inform you that you have not been selected to participate in the 2015 Eugene and Ruth Roberts Summer Student Academy at the City of Hope. The applicant pool was our largest yet and extremely competitive. We had an overwhelming response of more than 1000 applications this year and, unfortunately, we can only accept 70 students. With hundreds of highly qualified applicants, it was nearly impossible to distinguish among them. Therefore, you should remain confident of your potential for a career in science and medicine and not be discouraged by not being selected this year.
Please keep City of Hope in mind for next year’s Summer Program. Each year brings new applicants with varying qualities and experiences. We appreciate your interest in our program and wish you all the best in the future.
Sincerely,
Eugene and Ruth Roberts Summer Student Academy
2015 Selection Committee"
