@jhgong I’ve sent 6 and been rejected by 2. They can probably tell from the tone of some of the last ones I’ve sent that I’m kind of desperate 
Alright. Anyone incredibly anxious right now? I spent a while on my emails and only sent in a few. Got one rejection. Another was considering but took a student already. Anybody know if mentors can take multiple students?

Yeah. I almost feel like people spamed the researchers despite specific instructions against that haha. I sent in 6 emails so far, I may need to sent in more.

I think maybe morning would be the best, so it would be at the top of their inbox? I don’t know, I’ve never done this before!! 
I’m sure that time isn’t the biggest factor

Well I started making connections really earlier (ie talking to people in march and asking about the program) and waited until I made it pass the 1st round to confirm with them

@HuangoBango I’m pretty they told us we couldn’t email the professors before we get accepted. But good luck on your interview!
Interviews are not necessary right? Because my professor just said he was willing to host me and I would just come in in May to get familiar with the lab,
Congrats on hearing back from a professor thesheep787, something happened with one of my emails so it didn’t send to a professor i was contacting. I Hope that i hear back from him soon
