oh and by the way i graduate H.S. in 2010, so i think it will be easier next year than this year, just curious what i could get into with my current performance i can acurately predict my stats) could it be for 2010 public schools will be more competitve because financial crisis and lack of money and private school are easier to get in because of cost? i can afford privates.

however, im a very smart kid and know i can do well in college, i was just a bit lazy. i went to a good school and learned a lot, and am very smart and eager to go to a good college where i can learn and also have a good social life. no commuter schools. what college in california could i be matches or safeties, or what are some reaches, mainly i want matches.

I agree with all of the previous posts but think Pepperdine would also be a great fit—it has a solid Christian foundation with a pretty good social scene (a dry campus, but I think it still has a lot of Greek activity with off-campus partying? Correct me if I'm wrong), average HS GPA of 3.6 so you're right on target. I also agree with LMU and USD. Good luck!

and my weighted gpa might even by a 3.7 or 3.75, but that would weght community college courses, my one ap course, and my 6 honors courses, while my UC would be like a 3.45 and my unweighted would be like a 3.25. Would private college, like pepperdine, lmu, usd, redlands and such weight all honors classes, or would they be like uc and only weight those approved classes?? i guess they all have their own scales, but any ideas? thanks for all the help? our my ratings correct, i still have lots of time i know, but just to get an idea, never too early. thanks everyonw! any more? also what about my 2010 question and how the current economic situation will affect colelges. anyone wanna tackle that?

Shoot for Santa Clara. It's very nice. I think a 3.2 would be on the low end for the school though, so I'd work on trying to improve that a bit.

yeah, i'd be really happy if i could go there. would taking a course or two during summer between junior and senior at a community college make that much of a difference? Should I plan on that maybe to help out?
