Clark Kerr Campus Line

I was studying the CalTransit bus lines and I didn't happen to see a daytime one that stopped at Clark Kerr. I know there has to be one though. The available daytime lines are C, H, R , P, and RFS. I tried a search but nothing helped. Anyone know which line I should use? (Walking is not an option because I don't trust the adjacent milieu).

The 7 is right in front of clark kerr. It has a tendency to be late, so you may have to wait long, especially if you are going from campus back to ckc. And the area around it isnt too bad, just try not to walk alone at night, which is something you shouldnt do anywhere in berkeley, just to be safe. You can also walk down parker, which is right in front of the horseshoe, to college and catch the 51, which is more frequent. You can do the same coming back to clark kerr from campus. And there is a night shuttle that drops you off right at the top of the horseshoe.

The 7 line isn't one of the daytime transit lines. What is it's affiliation then?

None of the daytime buses by BearTransit run to Clark Kerr. In reality, none of these buses are specifically designated to run along the dorms, but it just so happens that most of the dorms are situated on the perimeter of campus. The 7 and the 51 are part of AC Transit, and they'll be "free" once you get your Class Pass AC Transit sticker on your ID.

Just a wild prediction, but walking will eventually become your primary means of getting to and from Clark Kerr. It is less than an 7 minute walk to get to SE edge of campus, and waiting 15 minutes for the bus for a 2 minute bus ride will get old- fast. There is nothing wrong with the Clark Kerr area and just for your information, Frat Row and Piedmont Ave. tends to be one of the safer parts of Berkeley.

Best of luck,
TTG

Thanks, I do have to get to etcheverry by 9:30 for a discussion section though, so how would it take me to get there if I walked?

it would probably take like 15 minutes. You can walk to i house, and catch the reverse perimeter and take it there.
