<p>D got an academic acceptance from Montclair State, and some merit money, but still awaits the audition results. It’s always nice to have another hurdle jumped, nonetheless.</p>

They told us at auditions that decisions wouldn’t go out until April. When was your D’s audition, and how did she find out?</p>

S auditioned at the Chicago Unifieds last week. They called him on Thursday as he was riding the bus home! Had to call them back to get the great news. The happy dance was then performed. Nothing beats an 18 year old boy dancing around the house like a maniac. I hope your D breaks legs on her final auditions.</p>

My daughter auditioned at the Chicago Unifieds and got an acceptance via e-mail yesterday (February 18th).</p>
<p>Thank you. D won’t hear any more of her Unifieds results until late March.</p>
<p>She has 2 more in NY this coming week, which perhaps will notify her sooner. Several other non-auditioned answers should trickle in over the next month.</p>

<p>Congratulations all with good news! Ristomom–is NIU Northern Illinois University? I’m so dense!</p>
<p>S2 had portfolio review/interview for USC last night. Long day of school, huge AP Art History exam–he was dead tired. One can of Diet Coke later and off he went. The portfolio reviews for design applicants take much less time that full auditions for your performance kids. I’m still in awe of all their stamina.</p>

<p>We’re going to SUNY New Paltz and Adelphi. We are very grateful that they were willing to give her individual appointments during a time when our school has 2 days off.</p>
<p>We will definitely have fun on the weekend, to celebrate the end of auditions!</p>
<p>New Paltz is a great little town! (Adelphi may be in one too… never been there :)) have a great trip and celebratory weekend!</p>

Adelphi - Garden City village is cute, even though Long Island is not a personal favorite of mine. Roosevelt Field mall is worth a visit.
