btw bimachris i saw your sn on the NYU forum just now haha its a small world after all. As you can see i am freaking out and asking the poor board administrator questions concerning every precaution i can think of :) My sn on their is "Liz M."

^ 100th post, what what!

Haha yeah I asked a lot of questions on the NYU forum. Better safe than sorry right? I think I recognize your sn, were you the girl asking about Tisch Film and being out of school for a year and stuff like that?

I had nightmares after reading last year's thread. It was like some kind of surreal online tv show...with a bad ending for everybody

that 2012 ED thread freaked me out completely.

Tell me about me. All those guys had terrible luck, like one by one they got shot down, like a bad horror movie.

nope not the girl from the Tish school, my last post was about converting documents to the Embark application. I'm applying to CAS, and yeah i literally freaked out for a day after reading that thread, luckily a night out having fun cleared everything up :) lol its 1:37 am here and i just got back home

Late night party girl huh? Haha.

Oh are all macs like that? I want to get a mac so badly, it'd make editing for me so much easier

haha I'm so late getting into this board...
Hi! My name is Ariel, I'm from San Diego, CA and I'm applying ED to Tisch Drama.
I am super nervous for my audition which is on Nov 10. Not enough time :(

hey, i'm from the island. I'm applying to stern, what's good. Global business program anybody?

Whats up guys, better late than never! haha

Good luck on that audition Ariel, I'm also going for Tisch ED but for film. You have to fly out to NYC for the audition right?

thanks :) yup I do have to fly out. I'm going to die from exhaustion that week. I have dress rehearsals for my school show the week before, I fly out sat (see Farragut North!!), on sun I see Agust Osage County, mon I audition and go to an event, tuesday I fly back to San Diego to arrive home @ 3.00 pm then drive to my school for our final dress rehearsal @ 5.30 before we open on wednesday.
oh gosh. It's so worth it though!

I swear to god, I am considering not even sending in my app.
A girl got rejected with a *ing 2230. A *ING 2230! From stern, btw. I hope this low income, mexican thing can boost me up. I really am discouraged.

^ No way! Then my little 32 ACT butt has no way for RD Stern, do I? Argh. Maybe the African American, Midwest, "would have been recruited for track, but since their sports are so bad they have no weight" thing will help me out. Otherwise, it'll make my decision easier come May 1.

Damn that sounds crazy Ariel, good luck. NYU will totally be worth it, haha!

A girl got GSP-ed from my school with a 2300. Don't sweat it, that shouldn't discouraged you, SAT scores aren't everything. Besides, for every 2200 that gets rejected, there's a 2000 that gets in. Remember, everything else counts too. They probably had crap essays.

2200 correlates to a 33. You'll be fine. they superscore the ACT.

btw, i'm pretty sure due to the economic prices, room and board will be up another 6-7%. college is going to hit 60k very soon.

That'll be depressing. I've been applying to every scholarship I could find, just did NYtimes last week, hopefully I get to the next round.

monologue, August: Osage County is super good. I saw it when I went to New York in July.
Those scores depress me. Me with my 29 ACT. How upsetting. And those Subject Test scores that come out tomorrow. Dismal. I'm hoping my "I'm from South Carolina and there's like 5 kids at NYU from South Carolina" thing works out for me.

Im banking on millenium gates. hahaha.

whoa whoa whoa, NYU superscores ACT??

I was going to apply ED to Stern, but I want to see what my options are before I shell out 55k a year.

Abe - Yeah I'm going for the gates scholarship too, but for the Asian one haha.

SAT scores came out today. 2040 baby, went up 140 points from last time. :D I'm pretty happy, 750 Reading 630 Math 660 Writing. And WHAT! Haha I gotta go update my stats in the NYU '13 Stats thread
