awesome job chris.
my best friend was upset. she freaking made a 2270. good lord.
give me a break.

Thanks Perry!

Haha, damn those overachievers. Makes me look bad.

Early decision apps due in a week! Gah!

Overnighting my portfolio tomm night, just sent my common app/supplements in

Hi guys!

I'm Deep, and I'm from Malaysia. I'm going for Stern. I wanted to apply ED but only got 1190 for my M+CR :/ Going to sit for the ACT instead, and try my shot at RD!

Good luck to all you ED applicants!

Haha good luck sagecoll, I just mailed my film portfolio today. I was so nervous, I checked the envelope like 10 times to make sure nothing was messing, lol. Now I just hope that it makes it there in one piece, nothing gets wet or the DVD broken. knock on wood

I still gotta revise my personal statements, but I gotta do the essays for Horatio Alger scholarship which is due thursday, so **** **** I gotta split my time. >.<

Apa kabar Deep, welcome man. Thanks!

hopefully you get in chris! which part of asia are your roots from?

Thanks man, I hope so too.

My dad is half Indonesian (Balinese), half Chinese and my mom's Chinese, with some aboriginal mixed in there

that's alot of culture in one soul!

hope to see you in NYU sometime bud~

^ Malaysia represent! :)

Oh man I mailed my forms the other day and my dad offered to mail it for me, but being the superstitious person I am I had to mail it myself haha. Everytime I mail something for a contest I'll win something but not if my dad did.

So at the last minute I don't know if I wanna apply to CAS or Gallatin. GRRREATTTT.

Chris: congrats on breaking 2000! :)

Cheers Fiona! what are you planning on majoring in?

Haha thanks, I hope to see you too man! My bahasa indonesia is really not what it should be, neither is my Mandarin. I'm hoping on taking classes in college to brush up on them. :)

Gallatin has like a couple of extra essays I think, they really look for writing ability so if you like to write go for it Fiona, if not then CAS is the better bet. I had to do a lot of extra shiz for my Tisch portfolio.

Haha thanks, I can live with my SAT score now.

Just finished Horatio Alger scholarship today, so I'm gunna concentrate all my energy on finishing the personal statements before sat. Got 1 finalized down, still have to work on the other 3. Gulp

o man nyu personal statements i spent forever on that one about the talent show haha

Two days, and then weeks of anxiety and frequent nervous break downs. What a fun Thanksgiving this will be!

Still finishing up on the short answers. The talent show's the only one I still gotta do actually, lol.

Well at least they gave us until Nov 3 this time to send it in, that's good.

Haha Thanksgiving's gunna be a blast. lol

I pressed the button. The submit button.

Oh god what did I just do. <_<

The talent show was the first one I finished! haha, my personal trait was the hardest for me.

deep- maybe econ & history. I'm not sure yet, but econ's definitely there.

I wanted to cry when I pressed that button and I keep on waking up at night thinking that I typed the wrong SAT date, spelled words wrongly in my essay, etc. The agony has just begun; we gotta wait for 1 1/2 months! How I envy those apply to universities in Australia - they apply in the morning they get their results in the evening!

I was taking my SAT II today and I'm the only one! how embarrassing.

Haha I feel your pain Fiona. But after I did it, I feel so relieved. So so relieved. :) Now the waiting begins, haha.

Really? Australian kids get it that fast? Damn, then it must be like, all number-based.

Haha I was suppose to take my SAT IIs today, but I'm skipping out, I have to go to work.

Oh my goodness! I submitted on Thursday. I leave in a week for my audition on the 10th.
AHHHHHH!

I'm so happy that I'm just DONE. Now only the anticipation remains! We need an ED thread like the class of '12 did last year...
