Can anyone tell me the link for the scholarship page on the site?

Sean - bummer. I'm sorry :(
Tribegirl - thats so weird that you got deferred. I have like the exact same stats as you and I'm also out of state. I've never visited or anything though...IDk what to tell you, I would think you'd be a shoe in. Is UVM your safety or 1st choice?
Elysse - I had the same thing - UVM as safety with scholarship $ but I'm not accepting, cause I got into my 1st choice. The campus is awesome! The town is what makes the college I think...Burlington is awesome.

mjones, where are you going? I hear back from Tufts and BU in Feb. and March. UVM is a safety...

the town is definlty real nice, except once you've lived here all your life it gets a bit old... but for the four years it would be great

how did you find out about scholarship money? Did they tell you in your letter? I didn't receive any scholarship information...yet, anyways, lol.

That is a bummer guys, I bet you'll definitley get in RD! I had legacy goin for me, so they probably took me mroe seriously- My mom, dad, and sister went there.

Right now I'm applying to Cornell ,Middlebury, Colby, Bowdoin, Williams, and SUNY Geneseo.
Got in to Arts and Sciences for Chemistry

Applying to Cornell for CALS :Biology and Biology and Society as 2nd choice major

good luck to everyone!

They send your scholarship letter seperately from your acceptence, I got both on the same day though.

oh, nice. :-), thanks. What were your scholarships/stats like?

I got a presidential scholarship for 3,000 a year for 4 years. My gpa is like 3.5 range for all grades except 9th were I had trouble with geometry which brought my whole gpa down. But I did the VIP app so I think that had a lot to do with me getting money.

I haven't received any scholarship yet :-\, blah! If I'm otu of state, does that mean no immediate scholarships?

I'm from out of state too and I got it pretty quick. (From CT to be exact)

what are your stats like?

3.2 gpa
1210 SAT
630 Writing
620 Math IC
610 Bio M
Captain of Ski Racing Team
Lots of church volunteer work

Hey UVm'ers...

Haven't been here in a while. Hey! I got accepted. The deferral thing on the web site was an error with the system. It was really great to get the acceptance letter, it was the nicest letter so far. Also accepted EA to Providence and Villanova, so far I think Providence is my first choice, still waiting on my match/reach schools....But I really like UVM too, I hear they have an excellent research department. I'll have to visit in the spring.

I have a 3.0gpa 1140SAT 580 verbal 560 math, crew team all highschool competitive club crew team last summer ski club all 4 years Key club first 2 years, volunteered for church for 2 years. I got in Early Action

Elysse - I'm going to Tufts. (And I know you're applying there - so good luck!) Its kinda weird though, passing up UVM is like seeing $100 bill on the sidewalk and just walking right past it. I got merit money here but Tufts doesnt do that I dont think and then my fam. doesnt qualify for financial aid. So thats an internal struggle I'm sure you, too, will have fun with.

I actually was accepted. I thought I was deferred that night that everyones said that online...Not sure if I'm going to go there yet.

Congrats! .

wow... this board is dead, lol. Got $2,000/yr presidential scholarship in the mial... that was exciting :-).

i got 2000 patrick scholarship. cool

We should bring this board back to life!
