i got my honors decision WAY back and i enrolled in honors over the weekend and got the confirmation today

Hey everyone!
I am probably coming to Mich in the fall...I got wait listed at Wake Forest and I'm having a hard time deciding whether I should wait around or just enroll at Michigan. They are pretty much polar opposites...Anyways, I was wondering if any of you have decided where you are going to live. I just visited last week and I loved the atmosphere of central campus, but not too many freshman live there except for some special programs. Any insights?

oh ok well i guess as they do it on a rolling basis you applied early or something. Anyone joining any MLC's?

I'm coming... I think my parents were more excited than I was. My dad was trying to convince me to accept the offer online using WA, but I was like, I'm at least waiting until I get the letter in the mail...

I'm going to commute, I live about 10 minutes away so a dorm is pretty much a waste of money... any other commuters?

Why would you wanna commute? You completely miss out on the whole college experience.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

College experience < 8K per year.

What can I say? I'm cheap.

Imma go to Umich! Well, my only condition not going was if MIT accepted me
but they didn't hahahahahahaha
I'm in CoE wonder who will be my classmates
Hey, I have a question though
what dorm will you guys go to?
I gotta be in the North Campus if I don't wanna take the bus trip...
bursley hall i think

hey.. count me into class of 2010 too.. paid my deposit a week back and also sent my honors essay.. lets see how it shapes us.. really excited to attend.. but.. what next ? after the deposit.. does UM send housing packages immediately.. btw.. dunno wat im doin at CC.. shud be studying for my International Baccalaureates in May.. ahhh..

Going to Michigan! Going to topple over under snow, political debate (I'm a...gasp...Republican.) , and honors math books (I spoke with a professor there...he said honors mathematics 1 starts with 40 students and by the end of the semester, it's 10 students...oh joy!)...

Anyone else from remotely near the deepest of the deep South?

Yeaaa for Mich!! Im going as well, major is engineering. OOS. Anyone else from CA bay area?

Yeah, I'm from the Bay Area, CA.. How will we do with our first winter?

For those warm weather friends may I suggest LLBean.com

There is something to be said for four season climates. Congrats everyone.

Yeah count me in for next year. Hahahaha I love LL Bean up here in the Northeast. Go class of 2010, and Go Blue. I just read a pre-season football ranking that put Michigan at #8, which is solid, but OSU at number 1....poo.

I'll be there, all the way from Southwest Missouri. I'm goin' to B-School.

Sent my deposit in a couple weeks ago. I am from upstate NY so the weather doesnt scare me at all. Hopefully UM football will kick the crap out of OSU (i really have no idea what i am talking about when it comes to sports).

I will be there next year, planning on majoring in biomedical engineering and possible pre-med as well. I am coming from Minnesota. Looking forward to next year and also football games. Go Blue!

I will be at Michigan next year too! I'm from California and am majoring in mechanical engineering. Can't wait to meet everyone next year!!!!

GO BLUE!

My S will be at Michigan next year. Music Major. Wishing you all good luck and Congrats!

And he is from CT, Shortstop!
