Yay! We got our own board!

I'm strongly considering, although I haven't sent in my enrollment deposit yet.

Have you officially decided?

count me in!
i think i'll go
i havent paid the deposit either....

Yep, its definitely official for me.
I just cant see myself at any other university. My only gripe is about the weather here... you both live in MI right? So I'm pretty sure you know what I'm talking about =P

Born and bred in West Michigan, loved the University all my life, and its great that I had the stats and they have the program that make us a match.

Hey everyone! This is awesome! I am strongly considering Michigan, but I'm OOS so that means $40,000 a year! YIKES! lol, anyway, i visited and loved it so I REALLY wanna go. I haven't sent in my deposit yet cause I want to see what else evolves but I love Michigan and I might end up there! PM me if you want my AIM sn or email!

I'll probably end up in Ann Arbor next year, unless things with MIT work out. Born and bred in West Michigan as well.

Hope you guys like football because we should have one heck of a team next year!!!

Any of you guys going to Engineering?

99% sure I am going to U-Mich next year. From Potomac, MD. Huge football fan, looking forward to braving the cold.

I'm going to engineering.. chemical as of now, then (as of now) I'm looking to go to law school for patent lawyer. It'd be nice (if I still feel like being a lawyer in 4 years) if I could stay at Michigan for law school.

I just got a decent scholorship from U-Mich so I guess that increases the chances I'll be there next year.

Maxer...where do you live?

Muskegon.. go to school in Fruitport

Turbo4g63.....

Just curious...what kinda scholarship u get, name and amount, (if u dont mind sharin), what college r u in, when did u get admitted, and quick rundown of stats....

thanks alot....

I got in 2 months ago. I'm not sure if I will attend, but I'm strongly considering it. I guess it depends on where else I get accepted...

I got in today, Michigan is where I will probably go, but it really depends on where else I get accepted.

Congrats on getting in dsmo and congrats on 555 Posts as well!

Sorry przfer, I've been busy.

The scholorship was from the engineering college, and covers a good portion of in-state tutition. I don't remember a specific name. I got a Regents Merit Scholarship before that one, $1500 non-renewable.

I was admitted sometime in mid October. 35 ACT, 3.948 UW GPA, probably a 4.0 UMich GPA. Hope that helps.

Hey Turbo, sounds like we're in pretty much the same boat. By pretty much, I mean exactly. I'm at Forest Hills Central, looking at biomedical engineering. You?

Central Oakland County, MI; LSA, Residential College.

Should be interesting.

Super,

I'm at Holland High. Not sure about my engineering specialty just yet, but biomed is closer to the top than the bottom.

Feel free to hit me up with an email if you want, I'd be interested to hear more specifics and discuss this stuff with someone in such a similar situation.

is the weather there REALLY cold? i heard a tad bit much about that.
