Class of 2012? Anybody? Anybody?

Wow advanced lawlz, how are you even on here right now with that schedule? Do your teachers not give you any homework? xx, you deserve sympathy, most people take that as a junior haha(ex: me)

Nah they’re pretty easy if you get used to the teacher, material is not challenging. AP physics/apwh are joke classes. Just lots of cramming for APWH before tests.

AP Chem teacher is a beast…in a bad way, notorious for tough grading… But she’s nice…which makes it hard to dislike her.

What about you guys?

^ haha, all I remember about WHAP sophomore year was alot of busy work. Chem AP was fun  I miss it because I had a funny teacher.

calc BC is the first math class I’ve liked

Do you like AP Chem more than AP Bio? I’m in AP Bio right now and I like it for the most part, but I’m a little apprehensive for AP Chem next year.

Omgosh, how do you like AP Calculus BC? There is no way I’d ever take an AP math class.

^ bio was alot of memorization.

Chem AP isn’t heavy on math. You’ll be fine.

I never thought I would like a math class either before I took calc. Just take it with an open mind. Calc is alot different than the math classes before it…you might end up liking it.

I guess I’ll find out next year, but I’m taking normal calculus haha

Thanks for the encouragement:)

I’m glad somebody else calls it WHAP. My teacher calls it WHAP and all his WHAP students WHAPpers. XD

^ LOL same

oh god nostalgia

I <3 CC

Hey, fellow sophomore here. =]

we call it whap because we literally want to whap the whap homework and whap teacher. :)

While we’re on the subject of AP acronyms, does anyone else call AP Euro “MEHAP”?

Hi! I’m a sophomore too. I’m glad we finally have a thread that no one flames us in, haha.

No MEHAP in my school, it’s AP MEH. :P

2012er here. We don’t have AP euro at my school, but I refer to it as APEH.

We call it Western Civ. ??? (not an acronym though, but no idea where that name came from)

At first, I thought AP Euro and Western Civil were two separate AP classes…yeah real slow… lol

another sophomore here :)

I’m taking the most intense courses my school offers, which unfortunately don’t sound too intense (all honors but no AP in my freshman/soph) but several are basically AP classes in terms of how much you actually learn. boo. =[

and yes, i’m one of those “i have to go to an ivy-league school or else i’ll die” people. well, not for my undergrad (i’d be okay with state school for my undergrad) but definitely for med school. and well, not an ivy…but stanford is my dream school and i’m pretty much in love with it. but yeah. 9% accept rate doesn’t sound really nice.

and does anyone have APEUSH (ap economic us history) in their school? as far as i know my school is the only school in the area that offers it

Does that combine AP Econ with APUSH? Odd…
So you take two AP tests at the end of the year?

raman, are you in California? Just curious.

haha. I like the AP MEH acronym. I’ll tell that to my teacher. She’ll like it :]

Wait, I just realized something.

2012’ers won’t graduate, on account of the world ending.

Sucks to be you guys ;O

That’s why our senior class is going to have a really bad case of senioritis.

You guys are sooooooooooooo …

I found CC half way through junior year. I felt incompetent because I was only taking 1 AP. =/. But thanks to CC I self studied another. I didn’t even realize a lot freshies/sophs thought about the college admission process.

^BFFL? :[

I wasn’t thinking about college admissions freshman year. But this site is so easily googable it’s ridiculous. I wasn’t even searching up something college admissions related and CC just popped up.

The Parents Cafe has too many random threads on shoes, clothes, cats, etc. If you manage to get your word phrasing right, you’ll end up on CC.
