FATHER GRADUATED UNIV OF MICH. FOR UNDERGRAD

but.. I think my 2 math subject tests will decrease my chances........

According to the information you have provided the college confidential community with, I conclude that you have a reasonable chance of attending this prestigious institution. From your examination results and your outstanding community services, the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor seems to be an ideal university for you. Your interest in the mathematics field is perfectly visible and this university is perfect for that. I could envision you as a part of this elite and exclusive institution. You will prosper and flourish. I will be expecting some exasperating and outstrasperatingly news from you.

I think you’re strong everywhere but the GPA. Sorry, but I think that will keep you out. It’s unfortunate because everything else is great. Who am I to say anything though? Just wait it out and hope for good news! That’s all anyone can do after he or she applies.

Viggyram:
After analyzing your opinions that are directed towards satismylife, I came to the conclusion that you are incorrect. Satismylife obviously has a highly feasible probability of being admitted into this institution. While her GPA may be lacking in a way, I am surmising that satismylife has improved his/her GPA throughout her high school career. This will show the university that this student is capable of the intensive and rigorous course work that is offered at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. And as you can see, her father has also attended this prominent and reknowned school. This is to his/her advantage and will give him/her the bolster that he/she needs to get into this school. As the great philosopher “Paccini” once stated: “Scholars are born, not made. Sagacity is a birthright; not everyone can obtain it.”
So I come to the conclusion that while this fellow may not have succeeded and flourished during his/her high school career, he/she will thrive above any other at the University of Michigan.

to satismylife:
You contain the intellect and perseverance required at this institution. I have no doubt in my mind that you will be admitted. Enjoy your college-life. I will be awaiting the great news.

SatIsMyLife, I will be honest if I were you I would NOT apply to Michigan unless you feel like waisting 70 bucks. Michigan looks at your unweighted GPA with the highest importance and you are well out of range. I would only suggest you apply if you were an in-state student that means if you live in the state of Michigan. I am not sure about NYU or Boston College you may want to go and make a chance thread in those forums because I don’t know what they look for in an applicant. Best of luck!!
