I’m applying to Stanford REA.

I’ll post my regular decisions later.

@Hawkace‌ I could be wrong, but I thought the point of a school having REA/SCEA was that you couldn’t apply early to any other schools?

@LAMuniv‌ REA/SCEA allows students to apply to public schools, but not private schools.

Applying to ND as restricted EA, and UMich as EA!

@Hakwace Huh, that’s odd… well okay! Anyway, good luck with those schools!

May or may not apply ED anywhere

@nellie97‌ I’m applying to Tulane EA too! Have you sent in your app already?

Has anyone heard back from Tulane EA?

I must ask, why do you guys apply EA to so many schools?

^ People apply to multiple EA schools b/c their applications are ready and feel that waiting won’t improve their package. They apply early to learn early. Having a handful of “accepts” in hand in mid December allows them the ability to NOT apply to some other schools they otherwise might feel compelled to apply to “just in case”. They might even feel the freedom to apply to one or more reach schools in RD round.

@engineering2015 yes i sent my initial app but im not getting my sat scores until tuesday when i recieve them and rush them over. my rep was just at my school last week and said he wasn’t gonna start reading nj apps until this week so i’m expecting a decisions letter around or before thanksgiving
