Waitlisted by Oxford, rejected by Emory. Not too sad, being accepted to Vanderbilt and UC Berkeley with Regents scholarship. Huh.

Accepted to both Emory and Oxford! Didn’t have a good feeling about Emory after being rejected from UNC Chapel Hill earlier today.
For the record, here are my stats:
GPA: 3.97 (UW)
ACT:30
No SAT I or SAT II
Decent extracurriculars
Thought my essay was pretty darn good
Great recommendations (from what my college counselor told me)
@jschul98 and @a1h313 you will see it on friday under “emory financial aid” assuming you turned your financial aid information by or near enough to the deadline.
Is anyone else not able to get into the accepted students portal? Also would merit aid be in the acceptance letter? Congrats to everyone!
@Kasami Congrats!!! I guess Im just a little surprised…35 ACT, 4.0 UW gpa, lots of ECs and leadership, etc. and I was waitlisted. Makes me nervous for Ivy Day tomorrow…
