let’ get this started
Hello!! I’m applying!
Hopefully just a few more weeks!
It kills me how late notification is
When do we find out?
And also does anyone know how good Emorys financial aid policies are?
When do we hear back from Emory? And is it through mail or online?
Anyone here get contacted by Emory for Financial Aid documents even though we have already uploaded them on IDOC??? @chocolateswag @couplemoreweeks @Christianf011 @zicyzicy
We uploaded my daughters info to IDOC back in early February. I called to see if they had all they needed and they said yes. So, hoping to hear about admission soon. The haven’t asked for anything additional.
When are they releasing decisions?
How do we get notified? By e-mail?
@NewportHSSenior yeah, got the email from Financial Aid office, but I am not eligible for need based aid. Do I still need to complete those forms?
@Yokennyr ddoes eveyone have to complete IDOC or just those looking for need based financial aid?
Joe2015…new to all this, so learning as I go. But I think you would only need to submit documents to IDOC if your applying for aid. It’s where you submit tax documents. So don’t think everyone needs to do it.
Thanks, I just called the finaid office and she said, forms are not needed.
@Yokennyr
Wait, are you saying that earlier financial aid document completion means an earlier decision notification? I didn’t know that was the case. You said they said that they had all they needed and thus that you were hoping to hear your admission decision soon.
No, that isn’t what I was saying. Just answering Joe2015’s question about submitting documents to IDOC. That doesn’t apply to admission.
I have a question…I applied to both schools and when I last looked at my financial aid to do list in the opus system (last month) there was nothing in the additional information column. Now it has “Undergraduate Oxford” in the additional information of each of my to do items. I’m wondering, do they just randomly pick a school and does everyone have this – or should I read something more into this???
Hmm…just speculating but it sounds like you might have been accepted to Oxford. That’s what I’d be thinking, but I’d hold my excitement until I knew more.
yes, I’m definitely holding any excitement…would anyone mind checking their financial aid to do list in opus - especially if you applied to both campuses - and telling me what it says in your Additional Information column – mine says “Undergraduate Oxford” in every row, including the completed items like the Profile and FAFSA. Thanks.
@ews761 I checked my OPUS account and I only applied to Emory and under my Additional Information it does list Emory University in every row but not Undergraduate Emory. Don’t know if that means anything!
Where does it say additional information? I dont see it. @ews761 and NewportHSSenior
