@owent33 where in Mass? We are still waiting (Watertown). But we were able to sign in the student portal and get a Financial Aid award letter.
Just got my letter-- accepted, Western New York! 97.3 out of 100 UW gpa… not positive what that is on a 4.0 scale. 2260 SAT. $20,000 presidential scholarship! I’m very excited! Now the hard part… convincing my parents it’s worth the money (I got more from Brandeis so they prefer there).
Is there anyone who knows for sure that they’re going AU now?
i got accepted yesterday. I’m from california but i wanted to know when decisions for the honors program come out? i haven’t received neither a rejection or acceptance for that.
@efinand- yes we were able to create an account and saw scholarship and now waitlisted. @julia1611 Yes, we visited AU, so there was demonstrated interest. I hope it wasn’t because we “used” the system to check early. It’s ok. Been accepted to better schools with $, so it will work out.

Got my letter today! Accepted from MA! My stats:
GPA: 3.3/4.0 UW
SAT: 1970
Extracurriculars: Lots of activist work, human rights, social justice etc.

Massachusetts got my later. Spring admit with mentorship program into SIS.
SAT: 2020, ACT: 31
Gpa 3.4UW- in AP equivalent classes that do not get weighed (college prep school)
Strong extracurriculars: Student council treasurer, yearbook editor, varsity captain, ect.
essay: good I think
recs: never saw them, but I assume good
To those who were accepted for the Spring semester, were you given a financial aid award for the Spring in your package?
Nothing in South Florida yet. I was able to log into the portal – and see my FA award – a few weeks ago but haven’t been able to log back in since. Even tried creating a new account and changing my password. Very worried…
Lots of demonstrated interest here too! By the looks of who’s in, guess AU’s not looking at scores and extras. Admissions putting wrong information about honors and special programs on Tumblr. Students getting letters about admitted student events before getting admissions letter. Ability to log onto portal to check admission status. Way too confusing. Still waiting.
