@Worthy17 My son’s stats are UW GPA 3.42, ACT 25, great EC’s, AP & college credit. IB major. (We are not thinking that he will be direct admit into that program, but it doesn’t hurt to dream!) lol

@sbgal2011 It looks like there are several people getting accepted on twitter at #UofSCYes in last few days. I wonder if it is only College of Arts & Sciences or all majors?
@bbaker10 my son also got an email with a VIP ID number and a message about a financial decision. However, after we activated the VIP ID and signed in to check financial status there was no info available and when we clicked on make a tuition deposit it wouldn’t open up an account - said an account didn’t exist, no student acceptance yet. Not sure what it all means and was thinking just a big computer glitch 
@xaviermom2017 Excellent point, it could just be a glitch, wouldn’t that be a bummer!
@bbaker10 that could be, they may be sending them out by colleges/departments. DS applied to HRSM so if that’s the case, we won’t hear in this round. We didn’t apply for FAFSA so we didn’t get a VIP link.

For those accepted, there is now a “Financial Aid” button on the main portal page. Seems like my S’s FA is on hold because of a couple of unsatisfied student requirements. Title IV agreement and status of academic progress.
Strange.
@STEM2017 That seems as though what my son’s portal has. Just a Home/Personal button and Financial Aid button I think, no Admissions button, daggone it! Hopefully soon.
I just got my letter last night. Im a in state student. ACT:21 SAT:1140 GPA:3.65 and top 50 of my class. Good luck!
