Here are a few notes comparing admit and yield rates for several schools mentioned in this thread, generally from 2021 but some are as of 2020.
Yes, the lower the yield percentage, the greater the proportion of accepted students who decide to attend elsewhere. This may be do to diffeneces in selectivity, financial aid policies, demographics of admitted students, the luck of the draw and,other factors.

I’ve been following these threads for a while now, and just made an account just no cause I know what you are going through, as I’m going through it too! So I go to a top prep school in Manhattan and my college guidance counselor confirmed to me as well that wash u told her decisions are being released tomorrow. So between what was said on reddit and that, I feel like tomorrow is a pretty high chance. I want to wish everyone the best of luck! Knowing that I am not the only one experiencing these anxieties and stresses has been very reassuring in a way. All the best

I’m assuming it is tomorrow, all signs point to it. Don’t stress out looking for your Guidance Counselor’s letter. Just drink lots of water and go along with your day (try to make a distraction lol) and at 5:30 check your portal. Remember that we are all qualified students, this decision will not determine our lives, most college decisions are actually quite random and not a judgement of character, and I’m sure everyone here has some amazing schools they could go to if this works out. WashU is my dream school and I’m sure some of yours, so this is the method and ideology I’m using.

@notredacted I think we will be able to check on the FA portal under the “my awards” tab, just speculation though, and I also imagine there will be FA info in the actual physical acceptance package
Confirmed by my guidance counselors: Wash U contacted them yesterday letting them know that decisions are coming out on the 15th in the afternoon (PST)
