It would appear that the package notification is real, and that if there is no package notification, the chances of admission are slim. Nothing is certain until the portal is checked, but the tea leaves are not promising if the package notification is not listed on USPS.
And remember, the whole purpose of the USPS sign up, is to get early notice. It appears that some got the early notice that they were looking for; while others didn’t. This is all very hard, and everyone wants to hold to whatever scintilla of hope that they can, but the USPS notices appear to provide a sense of what is happening. As do the class profile statistics.
@wingjuer Your daughter sounds like she has a VERY good chance!! The WashU profile came out and the middle 50% was 33-35 but there will be lower and higher. If she is a recruited athlete her scores sound excellent. IMHO
@jlarbs but you also have to remember that some USPS portals haven’t been updated. I’ve already accepted rejection, but there is the chance that is just hasn’t been updated
Here’s my theory… They have to package all those acceptance letters. It is going to take quite a bit of time. they are probably processing them on the USPS system (Endicia) in batches. So, just because your informed delivery doesn’t show anything, it may not mean anything. On the contrary, if the informed delivery does show something from that zip code, I would say that there is a very good chance that it is good news
Just created a USPS account an hour ago. Nothing showing. Someone earlier in the thread said a new account might take a day before showing anything. Is that true? It did immediately show history (an Amazon package delivered last week), which makes me think there is no delay in seeing information.
@Kova34, @PPofEngrDr, @collegeishard225, @rendr1,@Lemonade22, If 8% of 4,695 students are Olin, that would be 375 students overall accepted for the class of 2022. If roughly 40% of those were admitted ED as was the general class (which we do not know for sure), that would mean only 225 spots left for today for Olin.
Taking it a step further, if you assume about 10% of the initial 30,000 applicants were Olin applicants (around 3,000) then about 1800 are left in this round. So if 225 students will be admitted to Olin today, about 1575 will be rejected. Pretty tough odds but good luck to all!
It’s showing up on my informed delivery now PRO STAR FULFILLMENT/ PRO STAR LOGISTICS-UT/ENDICIA

@2KansasKids if you create the account today, it will start working tomorrow morning.
and yes, if you log onto your portal, it said " your decision is completed" or something like that a few days ago.
@2KansasKids That was what I exactly did 2 years ago on decision day only for checking the package from WUSTL. I got to know the decision through portal, not the informed delivery and I received the package a day ( or two) after. Now It is very useful for my second one.
it’s kinda sad what we have to do to get into college nowadays. i guarantee if we all applied last year results could be VERY different from what they will be today
