Class of 2022

Hi all:
We noticed today that son has a UVID id assigned. It gives instructions to log in but the UVID id doesn’t work. Is that a sign of acceptance and did anyone else notice this change on status?

And now son’s application updated and accepted with the Dean’s scholarship. He is very excited

I submitted my application 10/21 and got a decision offering admission on 10/30! I also got the Damen Scholarship for 21k a year.

Hey guys, here are my stats if anyone’s interested:

Location: Right here in suburban Illinois
Applied: All required items in on 10/18. Uploaded resume on 10/23.
Admission decision: Accepted on 10/27. Was accepted before I submitted my essay…lol
Major: Bio
GPA: 3.8 uw, 4.62 w
Class Rank: School does not rank
SAT: n/a
ACT: 34 superscore. (I know it says online that Loyola doesn’t superscore, but they changed that policy this year. I went to a visit last month, and a rep personally told me that they now superscore. I also emailed their office to confirm and they do indeed superscore. To anyone applying, definitely send more than 1 score if it would superscore to a higher composite. This would increase acceptance chance AND scholarship potential.
Visits: visited 2 times, emailed their office a million times, and met the rep at a high school visit after acceptance.
Essay: I was going to submit, but didn’t get a chance. To anyone applying, I would recommend doing it anyways just to be safe.
Resume: Yes with nice list of music extracurricular, volunteering, and leadership.
Scholarship: Presidential scholarship of $22,000 a year. I asked their admission office about how they calculate automatic merit scholarship awarded, and they replied with this: “Merit Based aid is only reflective off gpa and scores.”

Congrats to everyone accepted! Loyola is my #1 choice so I hope to meet all of you next year on campus!
