Has anyone seen their full financial aid packet? My daughter’s FA page shows her merit but I don’t see anything else like total cost etc. Thanks
Of course! We stayed in the Delta Marriott in S Burlington. We’re staying at the Hyatt in downtown Burlington when we go back in mid April. Ds was accepted last week, and wants to go back in warmer weather to decide. He is vaccinated, and I will be by then, so we can maybe stay a little longer.
I talked with FA office because we were also confused. Total annual (estimated, I think?) billed costs for 21-22 are $32,356 for in-state (add about 25K for additional OOS tuition), total instate COA is $35,883 (so around $60K total for OOS). I should have asked whether they will send a snail mail letter with the full information at some point…
Thanks!! I called today and was given the same numbers. The financial aide officer stated that they don’t give the exact amount until the student accepts their seat. She said this is due to lab fees.
Is UVM offering anything in person for admitted students between now and 5/1? How about the Honors College? Just making sure we haven’t missed anything!
I have only heard of online programming.
They usually use the waitlist if there aren’t enough matriculating freshmen from the RD/EA accepted batch. They evaluate the numbers after May 1 to see who’s put down a deposit so unfortunately, you would have to commit to another school temporarily if UVM decides to pull off the waitlist. I would definitely suggest that he writes a letter of continued interest if he hasn’t done so already so they know that he’s genuinely interested in attending; this would help his admissions chances. UVM wasn’t my first choice so I took myself off of the waitlist and I hope others who don’t want to go do the same for the students who do. Good luck to your son!
