<p>How important is class rank? Are 3 AP's all right for my situation?</p>
<p>I was sick last year and explained what happened in the personal statement of my app, but not the specifics obviously. I didn't state this on my app, but before I was sick I was in the top 2-3% of my class. I had to drop my AP Classes and honors and while I was sick I had to take honors online and 2 homebound classes. I got all A's in those classes and I had to do pre-calc again this year online while my classmates went to ap calc. Well this sucks because all of this was not my fault. I was sick most of my junior year. </p>
<p>My GPA is 3.85 UW and my class size if over 400. And I'm taking hard classes my senior year, but I don't think I can send my grades in time before they make an admission decision. Should I send my quarter grades? I have all A's in 2 AP's, Honors classes, electives. I came back to school and my rank plummeted down to the top 12%, which isn't bad, but I heard a rumor is they consider the top 10% the most. I was freaking top 2-3%........ I really want to go to UF and I don't want me being sick preventing me. I wrote this on my personal statement..... I mean my situation. Do you think I should have stated I was in the top 3% before I was sick? I just stated I had all A's before I left... blah blah lol.</p>
<p>I came back to school and my parents only allowed me to take 2 AP's thi9s year and the rest honors nand electives. So I will only have 3 AP's total and if I wasn't sick I would have had 7 or maybe more...</p>
<p>I think my test scores are fine not amazing yet... just retook act for an even better score, I'm in a bunch of hoinors clubs (mu alpha theta, science honors, spanish honors, NHS), got an article published in the paper, a few minor awards, over 100 community service hours, raised money for charity because my friend's sister died of a brain tumor....</p>
