Yes or no? I need to know now, I'll thank you later.

my girlfriend heard it as an unofficial rumor just a few minutes ago.

perhaps check this site every now and then: http://www.cornell.edu/about/status/

it doesn't matter for me, i'm not going anyways. Stay home, be safe.

My BioAP413 prof said that she will still be holding lecture and lab but will have a makeup for those who can't make it. In fact, she advised us to stay home unless we're close to the lecture hall.

and by home you guys are referring to your dorms right?

officially no classes after 12:30

Thanks for your quick response, gomestar.

Looks like the school is shutting down. All of the libraries are closing.

On a side note, I saw a couple of people going to class on ski's. They were definitely having an easier time than the rest of us.

I actually made my 11:15 lecture although I had to spend literally 50 minutes walking from West Campus to the Vet School (on the extreme East Campus). It's a 30 minute walk on a sunny day and today it took 50 minutes. Unfortunately, due to the number of crazy premeds in the bio class, it was actually 75% full so I didn't gain an advantage by making the effort to go to class.

Let's get drunk!

Pedro didnt give extra credit.

what a douchebag.

Was class cancelled because of the snow? Just curious; I'm an incoming freshman and people keep making cracks about Cornell's weather...

Yes ... due to the "snow emergency" and classes are delayed today, Thursday 2/15 as well.

Cornell University will delay opening until 9:00 AM Thursday, February 15, 2007. This allows our crews extra time this morning to clear sidewalks, parking lots and roadways on campus. This also provides extra time for outlying roadways to be cleared.

The first classes will begin at 10:10 AM.
