<p>we are still required to attend classes on labor day, right? i read in the chronicle not too long ago that the school voted not to have labor day classes. am i wrong?</p>
<p>yes, we still have class! unfortunately, cornell seems to be the only place in the country that does not celebrate national holidays. while the offices are closed, students still have class. bummer, right? its funny how the college of international LABOR relations has class on LABOR day</p>
<p>i guess we ingore an overwhelmly passed vote to take off… :-(</p>

that confused me because all other classes are still on…</p>

<p>But starting next year we do get it off. We just start on a wednesday instead of thursday. lol. One less day of orientation for the freshman.</p>
