<p>What is a good elective class to take for the academy?
Right now, i am leaning towards AP Computer Programming 3 or AP Physcology.</p>
<p>My daughter had the same choice for her senior year of high school. The obvious answer is to take what you like. She chose AP Psych and loved the class. The Computer class will be very helpful and I recall that a programming class, if available, was suggested several years ago by Admissions. She didn’t regret her decision, but would recommend that if you don’t have a clear favorite, take Programming.</p>
<p>I have already accepted my appointment. I was progressing through senior year with about a 3.5 untill 4th quarter with my grades having slipped to a 3.0. My FINAL grades, thanks to good final exam scores, remain overall unaffected.
The trend of “slumpage” is still evident though, and it worries me. </p>
<p>My question is, what is the degree of “slumpage” or lowering of GPA in an appointee’s second semester/4th quarter grades that is severe enough for that appointment to be revoked?
In other words, what is considered “going on vacation” for second semester in terms of GPA?</p>
