Yes, it is possible to switch your admission status from a fall admit to a summer admit and take classes in the summer.

Yes, you should be able to switch, but getting housing may be difficult because it is probably nearly full. I would call them directly–they are much more likely to answer a phone call than to make sure to respond to an email.

Summer housing is not full. Summer housing: Brackenridge, Roberts, Prather and San Jacinto Halls. Jester Dining Hall will be available.

With no summer freshman class this year, I don’t think these will fill up; they are relatively expensive.

I think that if you decide you want to live on campus this summer, you will be able to.

FWIW, housing and meals for both summer sessions is $1500 across the street at the Castilian.

You want to live in San Jacinto.

uh if it’s just for the summer i would just go with the cheap option and live in castilian.

san jac costs twice as much and is freaking far away from everything.

Don’t live in the Castillian… there are tons of kids in west campus who bought into full year leases that want to sublet their apartments over the summer.

yes – you can get a really cheap APARTMENT in west campus for the summer - that’s for sure. TONS of sublets. The Castilian isn’t an apartment. It’s a dorm and provides food service, free utilities with the payment, etc. Big differences.
