Should i take my senior year ap English literature or ap economics my high school only allows 3 ap classes the other 2 I chose are ap calculus and ap Spanish literature
Take what you prefer. A particular class is important if it satisfies an area you don’t have or could use sprucing up. It is highly unlikely that you would be accepted or rejected because of a course. Your goal is presenting your best profile.
You need to take an English class AND a social science class senior year. However, either one is fine for an AP, it won’t impact college decisions at all whether you choose one or the other.
If you are thinking of majoring in the Humanities, I would take AP Lang.
If you are thinking of STEM, you could go either way.
Depends on your major and your area of strength. But, I’d recommend AP Lit, since you learn a lot about writing which will help you past HS. If you are a poor english student and strong in econ, then take micro/macro.
