Do you have any insight on which majors are hardest? I am applying to Graphic Communications with an average GPA, not test score and a ton of EC’s including starting my own business. Clemson is a dream and reach!
The following are the closed majors at Clemson, meaning they’re capped for acceptances: Communication, Construction Science & Management, Health Science, Language and International Health, Nursing, and Sports Communication. The College of Education has the following competitive entry programs: Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and Special Education.
In addition, majors in CECAS are also quite competitive.

How are they already capped? Meaning no incoming class of 2026 will be accepted into those programs?
No, it means they only admit a pre-determined number of students each year to those programs based on space. For example, Nursing will admit 176 incoming freshmen to their direct admit program because of limited space for clinical spots/hours. Hope this helps explain.
