Do you know what it is? I’m literally so confused
Does anyone know if international offers go out today too? I assumed yes but perhaps not. I’m Canadian so likely would not have been looked at in same pool as US students.
Accepted!!!

@lzzzapppp, here is what the website says about Tigertown Summer Bound:
Does that mean I didn’t meet the expectations for regular admission? Or is it for research purposes? I’m honestly so confused by the reason haha
congrats!
When I went to Clemson decades ago, USC had the better program. But Clemson has made huge gains to the point that I’d choose Clemson over USC for business now. Gorgeous new business school where Clemson House used to be.
Just denied my offer on the waitlist! I hope you all enjoy Clemson and to the people who got waitlisted I also hope you get in.
I am confused too. My daughter had a 1420 SAT, 4.1 GPA. 8 AP classes including AP Calc BC. Why was she admitted to the summer program?
They use the summer program to introduce you to the programs; it’s kind of in between regular admissions and the Bridge program: “TTSB is designed to support students in meeting the University’s academic requirements as they embark on their Clemson journey.”
That doesn’t make sense to me for a student with a 1420 SAT…
Someone posted last year that TTSB is a “money grab” - they suspected it was offered to students who didn’t apply for aid. Or, maybe OOS.
I also had 8 APs and a 4.4 gpa and was admitted to summer… very confused
I really don’t know other than numbers are just one part of it, especially in a test optional year. Teacher recs, essays, EC? Not sure what else your child has on their resume.
lzzzapppp My son did it last year and it was great. He completed two courses (English and Speech) over the summer. He ended up getting some courses out of the way and entered with the rest of the freshman class in August. Highly recommend it.
Four of D20s close friends are at NCSU; good luck next year!
I heard they waive OOS tuition for some people what are the requirements for that?
oos?
Wow. That does not make sense. My son was admitted to the summer program with similar gpa but onlu 1300 sat. I thought he’s get in for fall
Accepted OOS undeclared. But turning down offer tonight. GL all!
