No mention of merit aid which is disappointing - Clemson was #1 choice. She has generous packages at #2 and #3 choices.
OOS Accepted Biochem also!
Nursing at Clemson is Very competitive.
Let me guess. You are an in state student? Possibly upstate of SC. Possibly caucasian? The last one is more iffy on my assumptions
The criteria isn’t OOS and full pay. We are in state and my daughter was offered TTSB last summer. My daughter completed two courses last summer and started in the Fall with the direct admit freshman. Good luck!
I have heard no (from a parent who’s daughter applied Fall 2018). She got in at the last minute as the daughter of 2 alumni.
Have there been any rejections or just waitlists
I am guessing you are in state (probably upstate).
I got accepted to the bridge program, is it worth it?
Any internationals been accepted???
are the bridge program and the summer bound program the same thing?
The bridge is doing one year at the community college i believe then transferring as a sophomore
Ok thanks
Daughter was waitlisted. How do they expect for them to wait until early June to let them know when many colleges need a decision by May 1?
Is it a bad option? I’m oos and I got it
It’s not bad. You live on campus and in sone cases in better apartments than other students live in. Downsides are you have to drive 10 minutes to classes every day.
My understanding is you’ll need to put down your deposit at the best option where your D was accepted, and then forfeit it if she gets admitted off the waitlist and chooses Clemson.
No. 2 different things. Summer Bound makes you take 2 summer classes and then if you pass (3.0 or higher I think?) you get in directly in the fall. Bridge you start in the fall and take classes as TriCounty but you live on campus at Clemson and get almost all of the benefits of being a regular student. You can’t rush though.
If you don’t hear from Clemson before May 1, your daughter would have to commit to another school and then withdraw once she hears from Clemson. It’s done all the time. But with kids applying to so many schools, I bet waitlist admits start flying in April! Good luck!
They are two separate programs. For those that received TTSB, I think it’s the only option to go to Clemson - you either participate or decline.
