So I really want to buy a longboard to cruise with around campus, but I checked everywhere and since IV Surf Co. went out of business there doesn't seem to be anywhere in IV or the Camino Real area to buy a longboard! I was very surprised to find that there are 3 bike shops in IV but not one surf/skate shop...W.T F?? So if anyone knows of a skate or surf shop (assuming they sell longboards) of any kind in the immediate area near UCSB, please let me know as I don't have a car and state street is to far to go on a bike. Thanks!

Free fifteen minute bus rides for student from campus to downtown

You can always go on amazon lol.

and don’t get a sector nine haha. go Loaded or Earthwing or something.

Yeah online is the easiest but i’d like to at least stand on the board and make sure it is comfortable and has proper flex…also why not sector 9? They seem to be the most popular around here so they must be good for something. PS I looked into the loaded boards and while they are undoubtedly nice, they are pretty damn expensive and I don’t wanna shell out that kind of cash for my first board :P

Get a loaded board. They are ~$70 more, but are so much fun. Landyachtz makes some nice boards too. Order them online. I bought my dervish years ago on sale w/ paris 180s, and orangatangs for $200 shipped.

ermmm unless you wanna go for the “hardcore” longboarder look, I’d go for a sector 9 or a Z-flex

church of skatan prob!
