<p>YES. Sperrys and Rainbows are pretty much my only footwear from the time it hits 40 in the spring to the time it hits 40 in the fall. Best shoes ever.</p>

<p>I find that people who wear heels to school (at least in my case) are trying to prove something, which I think is what clfdwlr is trying to say. Still, if it’s more acceptable at your school, I can’t say anything about that.</p>

<p>Well nobody I know (at my school) ever wears heels, my school is middle and high school combined btw.
But I heard other HS students wearing heels, I found this surprising.</p>

<p>Wow, this is definitely a sentiment of which I have never heard. I dress rather formally nearly every day, so if people are going to judge me, they would have decided that I was “trying to prove something” long ago and I don’t care to disprove such assumptions.</p>

<p>You don’t need heels to dress formally, the classy formal girls at my school would never wear heels. There is no point. Why would you force yourself to walk in them all day and try and show some leg? It is a school day, nobody cares. Just dress well and throw on some flats.</p>
