Clothes for School

^Who said I needed heels to dress formally? I don’t wear heels everyday but I don’t understand the point of restricting myself only to flats.
I’m hardly trying to show leg. The heels I wear most often are winter boots; I’m wearing pants with those. However, if I were, what’s the problem with that. It’s my body and I will display it, within the bonds of reason, as I wish to.
Heels are hardly uncomfortable. It’s not a matter of forcing myself. Truly, many of my flats are much more uncomfortable than my heels.
Why do I care if no one cares? No one cares if I dress formally or in jeans and a t-shirt either. I dress the way I want, as do most people.

It seems that, “heels” mean some 5 inch horrors with a clear plastic heel. The shoes which you seem to be imagining might even light up garishly as one walks. I have no idea where you get this idea that heels, throughout this country, are a mainstay of only harlots and hussies.

Uhmm don’t go on assuming I don’t know what I am talking about with regards to the kinds I have in mind. Granted, I have no idea about the comfort but girls LOVE to always complain about them. Your winter boots can be acceptable for the most part. Pretty much anything else is just incredibly strange though. I mean like pumps, stilettos, and wedges. These heels do not make someone a “harlot or hussy”, they just have no place in a school environment. Wear them when you go out and are with friends or are at a more formal event.

Despite my comment on the previous page, I now wish to disassociate myself from any opinions clfdwlr has. Millancad, wear heels if you want to. I was just saying that at my school, nobody wears heels, which is why I find it weird.

But ^, please stop being so opinionated…it’s not going to get us anywhere.

I don’t want to get into a big argument over this, I just don’t want people bashing everything I say. And thanks for supporting me.

Okay. It’s just hard for people to not bash what you say when you’re doing the same to them.

slightly tight jeans/board shorts, vans/toms/slippers, graphic t-shirts/flannel/v-necks, blank jackets/blank sweatshirts, and random accessories (aviators/rayburns/jetblue sunglasses, bracelets, necklaces, etc.) - the typical modern “hipster” outfit in SoCal. It can get pretty expensive if you intend to wear a different outfit for each day of the week (around 7-10 outfits, which is basically just a change in the shirt/shoes/jeans).

People Do wear heels in our school but it’s really rare. I find it a bit weird for school too, unless there is some formal event like MUN or prom or something. I wish I were more into heels. I’m painfully short they might help me a little. LOL But I don’t even own a single pair.

^ Oh yeah, I forgot. The very short girl in our English class wears heels all the time. I just don’t think she really counts because she wore 4-inch heels even when we had uniform.

Yeah I was thinking of her. But I am scared. Heels + inexperience + HK humidity slippery floors = disaster.
