uh...gomestar...destinyusa? can you give a more specific link? x_x

ithaca mall is just for when a girl needs a new shirt or other quick stuff like that...

federated brands hates ithaca apparently. there's not even a saks fifth avenue in upstate new york, so I doubt they'd put one in ithaca.

You're best off shopping online or taking a road trip to NY, woodbury common outlets, or waterloo outlets if you want anything like polo etc.

ithaca is not a place for those that worship the mundane...

"uh...gomestar...destinyusa? can you give a more specific link? x_x"

that is the link. That's the name of the new mall.

sounds like something that wont be completed until the year 2525...LOL

and the website is soo not reader-friendly...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DestiNY_USA

heh we'd prly not even be in cornell once the project is even completed!!! gomestar are u from syracuse?

don't go shopping in Ithaca, unless you go to TJ Maxx which has great stuff. Even the one in Ithaca. Other than that save your money and do it at home. Oh and pyramid mall has a Zumez(sp?) which is like a pacsun for skaters. There's not even a Payless

tj maxx is horrid.

i lurrve it. Cheap designer stuff

i agree with spanks... i wouldn't be caught dead there.

maybe if you use the term "designer" very loosely, trackbabi. the stuff there is crap that no one bought in retail stores, from like 8 seasons ago.

tjmaxx is a good store for a lot of stuff. i prefer the mall but i get a lot of cologne, ties, and belts from that place (prices cant be beat).

but i can understand if you think TJ maxx is below you. you DO go to an ivy league school so chances are you are fairly wealthy. good for you.

and i wouldnt be caught dead in a neimans or a saks unless I was in the fragrance department.

spanks: girls do well in mixing and matching stuff from resale shops and such...

guys well it can be much harder though some do dress better than girls LOL

Yeah, of course! I just order all my clothes from Bergdorf Goodman (www.bergdorfgoodman.com) and charge it on Daddy's credit card. I have everthing shipped (expedited) to Ithaca, and when I don't know what size will fit best, I order them all and donate the other sizes to charity. I mean, I don't order that often though, probably once or twice each week (and never from the SALE rack, of course). I wouldn't want people to think I'm poor or something. [/sarcasm]

actually, I work 35 hours a week and pay for my own clothes..oh em gee.

tj maxx is gross. the stuff there is crap. go see for yourself.

Ithaca shopping sucks, which is why one might want to order online. tool.

Yeah, it's terrible to care about your appearance and to not wear unfashionable crap. Maybe I'll give up showering and working out too.

Qestion for Cornellians:

Am I wrong, but isn't xlx2007 wasting her itme thinking about style and shopping? Does anyone at Cornell care?

well you guys are all resentful after that comment.

I'm perfectly content sitting on my ivory tower.

You know, the standard for most of cornell's students is of a gross display of parental wealth, so if you want to take a "character-building" stance, fine, but be aware that you're falling below the standard there. No need for cynicism here.
