<p>I applied to CMU EDII and they're supposed to have notifications out by the 15th (2 days ago). I haven't received any word yet. Does that mean they are behind (last week I called and they were 3 weeks behind on the mail-in applications)? Or does it simply mean they mail the letters out by the 15th? I'm about to have a heart attack waiting for this dang letter.</p>
<p>They sent mine on the 12th and I received it on the 14th. Check online using your admissions ID to see if it was sent and the mail is just slow. But, when I talked to them on the 13th about it, it appeared as if only a small batch of letters were sent on the 12th. (I don't mean only acceptances, although that could be true...it seemed like they were sending decisions as decisions were made type of thing). I think they are trying to get the majority of decisions mailed today (no mail Sun/Mon-holiday), so you should get it in a few days.</p>
<p>Call if you're concerned, they can tell you if it was mailed.</p>
<p>Hmm. When did you send your app? I sent mine Dec 13th and as of last week wednesday, I still wasn't in their computers. They do have my app though (the postcard I sent with the app came back last wednesday). I think I will call tomorrow.</p>
<p>my friend got accepted to CMU early decision II on Jan 14th.</p>
<p>I sent mine on Dec 15th online. They didn't have my transcript untill less than 2 weeks ago though.</p>
